- Starting Tuesday Nov 26–we are now doing the Salvation Army Charity till the end of December–actually Dec 20 is our last day of hockey.
- the Salvation Army Pail will be on the counter as well for donations, etc –as well as the 50/50 tickets for sale.
- The pail will also be at the Xmas Party
- Reminder–if you want to make a personal contribution by cheque–throw it into the pail as well. We’ll include it with our donation.
- I believe if your personal donation is over $25–they will provide a tax receipt; we’ll make sure of that.
- The total Donation will go into the Sporting Christmas Fund in the Star Phoenix in honor of the players/ referees/ Alumni who have passed away in 2024.
- So, please donate if you can and be sure to do the 50/50 in December.
Another reminder–we finish on the December 20th and do not reconvene till January 6-Monday.
That’s about 16 days off including weekends. I believe some of the guys are looking to try and book extra ice over Christmas–if they can–watch for that info coming out soon.
