A few questions have come forward regarding facial protection as per our helmets as it refers to the CARHA Insurance:
- If you wear a helmet and full mask—no mouth guard required—dental is covered
- If you wear a helmet with a half-shield—mouth guard required and dental is covered
- Goalies if you wear a CSA approved helmet -full facial protection—no mouth guard required—dental is covered
- If you referee-and you wear a helmet and half shield—no mouth guard required—dental is covered
- Alll else –not covered
- A helmet must be worn anytime free-skating at Schroh or anywhere standing or walking where you can get hit by the puck. So, if you are visiting a player on the players bench—and you get hit and hurt; no coverage if you are not wearing a helmet.
- Be safe—play safe!!
